How to park a domain registered with Kualo

If you want two domains to show the same website, you can park one domain on top of another in cPanel. However, if both domains are registered with Kualo, you may see this error when you try:

Error from park wrapper: xyz.com is owned by another user.

Why this happens

This error occurs when the domain forwarding or parking service is still active for the domain in your Kualo client portal. The portal's forwarding service and cPanel's parked domain feature conflict with each other - you need to disable the portal-level forwarding first.

How to fix it

1. Log in to your Kualo client portal.
2. Click My Domains. You will see a list of all domains registered with Kualo.
3. Click the edit icon to the right of the domain you want to park (for example, xyz.com).
4. Set Web/Email Forwarding to Off.
5. On the same page, confirm that the nameservers for the domain are set to Kualo's nameservers:

ns1.kualo.net
ns2.kualo.net
ns3.kualo.net
ns4.kualo.net

6. Save your changes.

Once forwarding is disabled and the nameservers are correct, return to cPanel and add the domain as a parked (alias) domain. The error should no longer appear.
