Setting up a Zimbra Exchange email address in Windows Mail

Connect your Zimbra Exchange Compatible email account to the Windows Mail app in a few simple steps.

This article explains how to connect a Zimbra email account to the Windows Mail app using Exchange ActiveSync. This is separate from setting up Zimbra in Microsoft Outlook.

This guide is for Exchange Compatible accounts, which are available on the Professional plan and higher.

Before you start, make sure you have:

  • Your email address
  • Your email address password

Adding the account

  1. Open the Windows Mail app, then click Accounts > Add Account.

  2. Select Advanced Setup.

  3. Select Exchange ActiveSync.

  4. Fill in your details. Set the Mail server field to webmail.kualo.com, then click Sign in.

  5. You should see a success message confirming the account has been added.
