Follow these steps to remove an email account from your iPhone. Note that the menu path changed in iOS 11 - the old "Mail, Contacts, Calendars" section is now split into separate menus.

Deleting an email account from your iPhone also removes all messages stored locally on the device. Make sure you have copies of anything important before you proceed.
