- In Outlook, go to File > Account Settings > Account Settings.
- Select your email account and click Change.
- Click More Settings, then open the Outgoing Server tab.
- Tick the box labelled My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.
- Select Use same settings as my incoming mail server, or choose Log on using and enter your username and password manually.
- Click OK, then Next, then Finish.
- Restart Outlook and try sending again.
Your username is normally your full email address. If you are unsure of your mail server settings, you can find them in cPanel under Email Accounts.
