Setting up your email signature on your iPhone

Add an automatic signature to every email you send from your iPhone using the Mail app settings.

Add a personal or professional signature to the Mail app on your iPhone so it appears automatically at the bottom of every email you send.

How to set up your email signature

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone. The icon may be on a different screen or in a different location than shown here.

  2. Scroll down and tap Mail.

  3. Scroll down and tap Signature.

  4. Type the signature you want added automatically to the end of every email you send from your iPhone.

  5. Tap the back arrow or Mail button to return to the previous screen. Your signature is saved automatically.

Testing your signature

To confirm everything is working, open the Mail app and start composing a new message. Your signature should appear automatically at the bottom of the email.

If you have more than one email account set up, iOS lets you set a different signature for each account. On the Signature screen, choose Per Account to configure them individually.
