# Setting up your email signature on your iPhone

Add a personal or professional signature to the Mail app on your iPhone so it appears automatically at the bottom of every email you send.

## How to set up your email signature

1. Open the **Settings** app on your iPhone. The icon may be on a different screen or in a different location than shown here.

2. Scroll down and tap **Mail**.

3. Scroll down and tap **Signature**.

4. Type the signature you want added automatically to the end of every email you send from your iPhone.

5. Tap the back arrow or **Mail** button to return to the previous screen. Your signature is saved automatically.

## Testing your signature

To confirm everything is working, open the **Mail** app and start composing a new message. Your signature should appear automatically at the bottom of the email.

If you have more than one email account set up, iOS lets you set a different signature for each account. On the Signature screen, choose **Per Account** to configure them individually.
