Duplicate a campaign

Copy a campaign's template, content and list into a new draft - the quickest way to reuse a design.

1 min read Updated 10 Jun 2026

Duplicating a campaign copies its template, content and recipient list into a new draft. It's the quickest way to run a recurring newsletter, reuse a structure you liked, or test changes to an existing campaign without starting over. This guide covers how.

Duplicate a campaign

  1. Go to Campaigns, then Emails, and find the draft or sent campaign you want to copy.
  2. Click the arrow to its right to open the menu.
  3. Select Duplicate.

The copy lands in your drafts, where you can change the list, the campaign details and the content as needed.

Troubleshooting

Duplication is slow - large campaigns with lots of images take longer; check your connection and try off-peak.

Content is missing after duplicating - make sure all images are still in your library, that any custom HTML is compatible, and that dynamic-content sources are still active.

The contact list didn't copy - confirm the original list still exists and you have access; reselect it manually if needed.

Template changes don't show - clear your cache, save the duplicate before editing, and make sure you're editing the copy rather than the original.

To preserve a design for reuse, see Save a campaign as a template. Stuck? Open a support ticket.
