Set your timezone
Set the timezone MailMachine uses to schedule your campaigns and automations.
MailMachine schedules your campaigns and automations in the timezone set on your user account, so it's worth getting this right before you schedule your first send. This setting controls when your scheduled times happen - it doesn't change anything for your recipients.
Change your timezone
- Click Parameters, then select Users.
- Click the user account whose timezone you want to change.
- On the user page, find the timezone option, open the dropdown, and choose your timezone.
- Click Save to apply it.
Your timezone affects when your own scheduled campaigns go out, not your recipients' local time. When you're deciding when to send, think about where your audience is, not just where you are.
Troubleshooting
The change doesn't take effect - click Save, then log out and back in. Clearing your browser cache and re-checking any already-scheduled campaigns helps too.
Can't find your timezone - search for the nearest major city, or use the matching UTC offset if your exact city isn't listed.
Scheduled emails go out at the wrong time - double-check the timezone is correct and account for daylight saving. Remember that scheduling uses the sender's timezone.
Team members in different timezones - each user sets their own timezone, and campaign scheduling uses the sender's. Coordinate within the team so a send doesn't land at 3am for half your readers.
The setting keeps reverting - make sure you have permission to change it, watch for browser autofill interfering, and try a different browser.
If your timezone still won't stick, open a support ticket.
