Upload files to the media library
Store images and files in your media library to reuse across campaigns, and link to them in your emails.
Your media library is where you store the images and files - photos, logos, PDFs - that you use across campaigns. Keeping everything in one place makes building emails quicker. This guide covers uploading and linking files.
Upload directly
- Select Resources, then Media Library.
- Click Upload and choose a file from your computer.
Add an image while editing
- Edit your email.
- From the Content menu, drag an Image block into the email.
- Click Browse. You'll have three options:
- Upload - your own files.
- Import - from an external source.
- Browse - the free stock-image selection.
- Click Upload and select your file. One file at a time, and there's no FTP.
Link to a file
- Click the link button where you want the file.
- In the URL-type dropdown, choose File Manager.
- Select your uploaded file. It's now linked, and recipients can open it by clicking.
Limits
- Maximum image dimensions: 1600 x 2000 pixels.
- Maximum file size: 1 MB.
Troubleshooting
Upload fails - keep files under 1 MB and within the dimension limits, and use a supported format (JPG, PNG, GIF, PDF).
The file doesn't appear - refresh the page, clear your cache, and check your storage space.
Image quality - optimise before uploading (72-150 DPI for web), use JPG for photos and PNG for graphics.
Can't select a file - wait for the upload to finish, and re-upload if it seems corrupted.
Storage full - delete unused files, compress before uploading, or get in touch about more space.
If uploads keep failing, open a support ticket.
