Save a campaign as a template

Save a design you have built so you can reuse it for future campaigns without starting over.

If you've put work into a design, save it as a template so you can reuse it without rebuilding it each time. It's perfect for a recurring newsletter or any layout you'll come back to. This guide covers how.

Save a template

  1. Open the email you want to save.
  2. Click Edit Email.
  3. In the top right of the editor, click the dropdown arrow.
  4. Click Save Design as Template.
  5. Give it a name and click Save Template.

Your template then appears under My Templates when you create a new campaign.

Troubleshooting

The option is missing or greyed out - the campaign must be a draft or sent (not currently sending), and you need to be in the editor rather than the preview. Refresh if it doesn't appear.

Saved but can't find it - look under My Templates when starting a new campaign, avoid special characters in the name, and check you're in the right account.

Changes aren't saving - make sure you clicked Save Template after naming it, check your connection, and try a different name.

It looks different when reused - confirm all images are still hosted at their original URLs, that merge tags and dynamic content are still valid, and that any custom fonts remain available.

To manage your saved templates, see Delete a template. Stuck? Open a support ticket.
