Delete a campaign draft

Permanently remove a draft to keep your workspace tidy - only drafts can be deleted, not sent campaigns.

1 min read Updated 10 Jun 2026

You can permanently delete a campaign draft to keep your workspace tidy - handy when duplicates or abandoned ideas start to clutter the list. The one rule: only drafts can be deleted, never sent campaigns (those are kept for your records and reporting). This guide covers how.

Delete a draft

  1. Go to Campaigns, then Emails, and find the draft.
  2. Click the arrow to its right to open the menu.
  3. Select Delete Draft.

Deleting a draft can't be undone. Make sure you won't need it - duplicate it first, or save its design as a template, if there's any doubt.

Troubleshooting

No delete option - the campaign must still be in draft status, and you need permission to delete it. Refresh the list.

Can't delete a sent campaign - sent campaigns are kept for record-keeping and can't be deleted; use filters to tidy your view instead.

Accidental deletion - deleted drafts can't be recovered, so duplicate important drafts before big changes, and save designs as templates.

To keep a design safe before deleting, see Save a campaign as a template. Stuck? Open a support ticket.
