How to clear your browser cache
Clearing your browser cache can resolve connectivity and display issues caused by outdated stored data.
If you are experiencing a connectivity or display issue, clearing your browser cache is a good first step. This article explains how to do it in Chrome, Firefox, and Safari.
Chrome
- Open Chrome.
- Click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner and go to History, then click History again.
- Click Clear browsing data on the left-hand side.
- Choose a time range, select the items you want to remove, then click Clear data.
Firefox
- Open Firefox.
- Click the menu button and go to History.
- Click Clear recent history.
- Select the time range and the items you want to clear, then click Clear now.
Safari
- Open Safari.
- Click Develop in the menu bar, then click Empty caches.
If you do not see the Develop menu, enable it by going to Safari > Preferences > Advanced and ticking Show Develop menu in menu bar.
We also recommend clearing your DNS cache to ensure any recent DNS changes take effect.
