How to share your Cloudflare account with Kualo support

Grant Kualo support full Administrator access to your Cloudflare account so we can investigate and resolve DNS, proxy, and security issues quickly - including urgent situations such as an active attack on your site.

4 min read Updated 10 Jun 2026

If your site is proxied through Cloudflare, our support team may need direct access to your Cloudflare account to investigate and resolve issues quickly. This is especially important in urgent situations - for example, if your site is under attack and we need to adjust firewall rules or proxy settings without delay. Rather than sharing your password, Cloudflare lets you add another user as a member with a defined role.

We ask for ongoing Administrator access so we can act fast whenever something needs attention. If you ever move away from Kualo, you can remove our access at any time - the steps are at the bottom of this guide.

This article covers Cloudflare accounts you manage directly at cloudflare.com. If you set up Cloudflare through a different provider, you may need to migrate your Cloudflare account to one you control directly.

Before you start

You will need:

  • Admin access to the Cloudflare account that manages your domain
  • The domain already added to that Cloudflare account
  • Our support email address: [email protected]

If you have not yet set up Cloudflare with your Kualo hosting, see how to set up Cloudflare with your Kualo hosting account first.

How to add Kualo as a member of your Cloudflare account

These steps grant access at the account level, which means our team can see and manage all zones (domains) in that account. If you only want to share a single domain, see Sharing access to a single domain only below.

  1. Log in to your Cloudflare account at cloudflare.com.
  2. Click the account name or icon in the top-left corner to open the account menu, then select Manage Account.
  3. In the left-hand sidebar, click Members.
  4. Click Invite Members.
  5. Enter [email protected] in the email address field.
  6. Under Role, select Administrator. This gives our team full access to review and update your DNS records, proxy settings, and firewall rules so we can act quickly if needed.
  7. Click Send Invitation.

Once you have sent the invitation, let us know by replying to your support ticket or by opening a new ticket in MyKualo. We will accept the invitation as soon as possible.

Keeping our access in place on an ongoing basis means we can respond immediately if something urgent comes up - such as an attack on your site or a configuration change that needs to be made outside business hours.

Sharing access to a single domain only

Cloudflare also lets you grant access to a specific zone (domain) rather than the whole account. This is useful if your Cloudflare account contains domains unrelated to the issue you are raising with us.

  1. Log in to your Cloudflare account at cloudflare.com.
  2. Click the domain you want to share from the account home page.
  3. In the left-hand sidebar, scroll down and click Manage Domain [bracketed placeholder: verify this menu label matches the current Cloudflare UI - it may appear as "Settings" or similar].
  4. Click Sharing & Collaboration, then Share Domain [bracketed placeholder: verify current Cloudflare UI label for zone-level sharing].
  5. Enter [email protected] and choose Zone Edit so we can make changes if needed.
  6. Click Share.

As above, please tell us in your support ticket once you have done this.

Choosing the right role

Here is a quick guide to the roles most relevant for support purposes:

  • Administrator - lets us view and change settings across your account. This is what we recommend.
  • Administrator Read Only - lets us view all settings across your account but not change anything. This limits our ability to help in urgent situations.
  • Zone Edit (zone-level) - lets us view and change settings for a single domain.
  • Zone Read (zone-level) - lets us view DNS records, proxy settings, and firewall rules for a single domain, but not change them.

We recommend Administrator access so we can act without delay when it matters.

Removing access if you leave Kualo

If you move away from Kualo, you can remove our access at any time.

  1. Log in to your Cloudflare account.
  2. Go to Manage Account, then Members.
  3. Find [email protected] in the list.
  4. Click the three-dot menu next to the entry and select Remove.

For zone-level access, go to the domain, then Manage Domain (or equivalent), find the shared user, and remove them.
