As a reseller, you can log in to any of your clients' cPanel accounts without needing to know their password. There are two ways to do this.

## Method 1: log in directly via the /cpanel URL

You can log in to a client's cPanel account using the standard cPanel login page, without going through WHM at all.

1. Go to the client's cPanel login URL - for example, `https://theirdomain.com/cpanel`.
2. Enter the client's cPanel **username** in the username field.
3. Enter **your own WHM (reseller) password** in the password field - not the client's password.
4. Click **Log in**.

This works because WHM grants resellers the ability to authenticate into any account under their reseller using their own password.

This method is useful when you want to access a client's cPanel quickly without logging in to WHM first.

## Method 2: accessing a client account via WHM

1. Log in to your WHM account.
2. Go to **Account Functions** and click **List Accounts**.
3. Find the client account you want to access.
4. Click the **cPanel** icon (a small cPanel logo) next to that account. WHM will log you straight in to their cPanel.

:::tip
You can also use the search box at the top of the List Accounts page to find a client quickly by username or domain.
:::

## Two-factor authentication (2FA)

If you have 2FA enabled on your WHM account, you may be prompted to re-authenticate with your reseller 2FA code before WHM allows you to access a client's cPanel. Have your authenticator app ready when switching into client accounts.

## Switching between client accounts

Once you are logged in as a client, you can switch to another customer account without logging out. Use the drop-down box at the top of the cPanel page to select a different account.

:::tip
This is the quickest way to move between accounts when you need to make changes across multiple clients in one session.
