# How to import a site backup

> Restore a previous version of your ProSite website by importing a backup file or choosing an auto backup point.

You can restore your ProSite website from a backup file you have downloaded previously, or from an automatic backup point saved by the Site Builder.

## Steps to import a backup

1. Log in to cPanel and launch the **Site Builder** tool.

2. Hover over the **Publish** button and choose **Backup/Restore**.

3. Click the **Restore** tab.

4. Either browse for a backup file saved on your computer, or select an auto backup point from the list, then click **Restore**.

5. Wait for the restoration process to complete.
