# How to open an email message in RoundCube

When you log in to RoundCube, your **Inbox** is selected automatically and its messages are listed in the middle column.

## Open a message

Click any message in the list to open it in the reading pane on the right.

With a message open, the toolbar across the top lets you **Reply**, **Reply all**, **Forward**, **Delete**, **Archive**, mark it as **Junk**, or **Mark** it as read or unread. Click another message in the list to open that one instead.

## Open a message in another folder

To read mail in a different folder, click the folder you want - **Sent**, **Drafts**, **Junk**, and so on - in the folder list on the left, then click the message you want to read.
