To route your domain's email through Google Workspace, you need to replace the existing MX records in cPanel with Google's mail server entries, then set your domain to use a remote mail exchanger.

:::info
Before you start, make sure your Google Workspace account is set up and your domain is using Kualo's nameservers.
:::

## Delete your existing MX records

1. Log in to cPanel.
2. In the **Mail** section, click **MX Entry**.
3. Scroll to the **MX Records** table at the bottom of the page.
4. Click **Delete** next to each existing record until the table is empty.

## Add Google's MX records

Add each of the following records one at a time using the **Add New Record** form. Enter the priority and destination, then click **Add New Record** before moving on to the next.

| Priority | Destination |
|----------|-------------|
| 1 | aspmx.l.google.com |
| 5 | alt1.aspmx.l.google.com |
| 5 | alt2.aspmx.l.google.com |
| 10 | alt3.aspmx.l.google.com |
| 10 | alt4.aspmx.l.google.com |

:::tip
The priority values and hostnames above reflect Google's current recommended MX record set. Check the Google Workspace admin help for the latest values if you are unsure.
:::

## Set email routing to remote

1. Still in cPanel, go to **MX Entry** (or navigate back if you left the page).
2. Under **Email Routing**, select **Remote Mail Exchanger**.
3. Click **Change**.

Allow a few hours for DNS changes to propagate. Once they have, all email for your domain will be routed through your Google Workspace account.
