If Kualo needs to migrate you to a new IP range, and your domains use a private nameserver (for example, ns1.yourdomain.com and ns2.yourdomain.com), you will need to update those nameserver records at your domain registrar with the new IP addresses we provide.

## What you need to update

- You only need to update the nameserver IPs on your **master domain** - the domain the nameservers are named after.
- You do not need to make any changes to other domain names that are simply pointed at those nameservers.

## How to update your nameserver IPs

The process varies between registrars, so you will need to log in to your registrar's control panel and follow their specific instructions. Look for a section called **nameservers**, **private nameservers**, or **glue records** - different registrars use different terminology for the same thing.

:::info
Some registrars refer to private nameserver IP entries as "glue records". If you cannot find a nameserver IP setting, try searching for glue records in your registrar's help documentation.

## If Kualo registered your master domain

If we registered your master domain name on your behalf, you do not need to do this yourself. Simply open a support ticket and provide us with your new nameserver IP addresses, and we will make the necessary changes for you.
