JetBackup in cPanel lets you restore or download the DNS zone for any domain on your account, with backups available for the last 30 days.

## Restore a DNS zone backup

1. Log in to cPanel and, in the **Files** section, open **JetBackup 5**.
2. On the **Restore & Download** screen, click the **Domains** tab. A DNS zone backup is listed for each domain on your account.

3. Find the domain and backup date you want, then choose:
   - **Restore** - rolls the domain's DNS zone back to the selected backup.
   - **Download** - saves the zone file to your computer.

:::tip
If you have made recent DNS changes, download the backup first and check the records before restoring, so you know exactly what will be rolled back.
