Yes you may have your website in any language!
Can I create cron jobs?[Return to Top]
Yes we do allow you to create cron jobs, providing that they do not cause an excessive load on the server. Should such an instance arise, the issue can usually be resolved by decreasing the frequency of cron jobs
Can I get root access?[Return to Top]
No, root access is not available on any of our shared hosting plans. If you require root access with your hosting, we would recommend you purchase a cloud server, or a dedicated server.
Can I host more than one domain?[Return to Top]
Yes! Our MultiSite web hosting account is able to host as many sites from the same account, enabling you to have completely separate web sites for no additional fee!
Can I run CGI scripts?[Return to Top]
Yes you may run CGI scripts in or out of your CGI bin. Please note, however, that CGI scripts can be resource intensive and as such we recommend that you look first to finding a PHP solution if one exists. Be sure to check our terms as there are some scripts which are banned.
Can you design my site?[Return to Top]
If you're looking to get a web site designed, we'd recommend that you take a look at our web site builder solution, ProSite. ProSite will allow you to build a great looking web site really easily, or if you'd like, we can design the site for you using our Assisted Setup service.

Do you offer a shopping cart?[Return to Top]
Yes all our plans come with the option to install a shopping cart from within your control panel.
Do you offer shared SSL?[Return to Top]
Yes, every web hosting account has shared SSL (secure certificate) included free of charge, enabling you to conduct secure transactions on your web site. Dedicated SSL certificates (custom certificates for your domain name) are also available for a small annual fee.
Do you offer shell access?[Return to Top]
Yes! We understand that many of you require SSH access to be able to perform a number of tasks, or simply prefer to use the shell environment to do things more easily. SSH is a very powerful tool, however, and in the wrong hands it can easily be abused. For this reason we require that for every account on which shell is enabled, you fax or email us an official photographic identification of the person who will be using the account. This person will then be held responsible should the shell privileges be abused in any way.
Do you provide webmail?[Return to Top]
Yes, webmail is provided with every hosting account, ensuring that wherever you are, you are able to check your emails providing you have a connection to the Internet.
What if I outgrow your largest plan?[Return to Top]
If you outgrow the largest web hosting account, then you will need to consider upgrading to our cloud hosting platform, or to a dedicated server. These plans will provide your site with the resources it needs to meet the demand.
What Perl modules are installed?[Return to Top]
We have too many Perl modules installed to list! Should one you require not be installed we are normally happy to do this free of charge providing that the perl module in question will not affect performance for other clients on the server.
What servers do you run?[Return to Top]
Our servers run a customised version of Linux, and all are at least Quad Core Intel Xeon servers with up to 16GB RAM.
When will my account be set up?[Return to Top]
No time at all! You should normally receive your login details as soon as your payment has been processed!
Will my sites be backed up?[Return to Top]
Accounts are backed up daily, weekly and monthly. Additionally, a "Backup Manager" is included in each hosting plan and you may use this to back up files to your local computer. We would recommend that you perform local backups, as the automated backups are strictly speaking for the purposes of full server restoration, and as per our terms, we do not guarantee the availability of our backups.
