The VPS Power Panel system, included free of charge with every Self-Serv VPS, enables you to manage your virtual server through any standard web browser, on any platform.

The Power Panel enables you to:

Stop, start and reboot your VPS.
Reinstall the VPS back to the default OS configuration.
Mount or unmount the VPS in repair mode.
Backup / Restore your VPS.
Change the VPS root password.
View system resource usage.
View, stop and start system services.
View system processes and send them signals (kill, term, stop etc.).
Connect via secure shell (SSH).
View VPS logs.
View resource overuse alerts.

Since the Power Panel software is served directly from our core servers, you are able to access the system even if your VPS is off or otherwise unreachable so that you may reboot it without the need to place a call to us. What's more, since the VPS is not stored locally on your virtual environment, this great feature does not use up any of your virtual environments system resources.
