Quality Components
Through years of seeing competitors failing their
clients and themselves by providing cheap, low quality hardware which ultimately
has a higher failure rate, or that just aren't up to the high standards
that a web serving environment requires, we've made it policy to only use
quality brand name components. Not only do we use quality components, but
we also have the expertise to select the right component for the right task.
The majority of our servers are built by Dell, one of the leading server
manufacturers in the world. More specialist servers for customers with very
specific requirements are are custom built, ensuring that we can meet our
own high server build standards and choose the best components possible.

Server Configuration
Our shared hosting servers are all supplied
by Dell. The latest ones are PowerEdge 2850 rackmount servers, equipped
with Dual Xeon 3.0GHz processors and 2GB ECC Reg. DDR RAM. They also include
multiple SCSI drives with RAID technology ensuring that not only are the
hard drive read/write speeds lightning fast, but also that drive failure
does not interrupt services.
