Power
The facility is powered directly by Tampa Electric Co. but in addition to grid power, surge provisions are also in place with MGE uninterruptible Power Systems (UPS) and for total blackouts with a Generac Series 2000 backup generator which can independently maintain power for an extended outage. On the rack level, we utilise APC power distribution units to ensure power is distributed appropriately to all servers and networking equipment.

Environment
The high performance, sensitive electronic equipment we use to power our web hosting service requires a precise, reliable control of room temperature, especially with the often humid Floridian weather. Precision raised flooring air conditioning is powered by 40 ton Liebert Deluxe System 3 compressors to ensure that our server room maintains optimal temperature, humidity and air-quality levels.

Equipment

Monitoring & Support
In-house technicians are available 24/7/365 ensuring that the network operates optimally at all times, and any hardware repairs can be conducted at any time. Individual servers and services are monitored every minute of every day from three global locations, ensuring that we are apprised of any unusual activity at all times.

Security
Entry to the building and server rooms is controlled by electronic access cards and identity-by-photo verification. The entire building is monitored by CCTV video camera surveillance at all times.

Fire Suppression
Our server room features chemical fire suppression systems to prevent spreading in the unlikely event of a fire.
