I started out with a shared sever, then VPS and just today moved to dedicated. Any my business DEPENDS on my server for 100% of my income - and that's why I stay here.

Well, it has been a rough day for a few of us; but I won't go to in depth because the problem wasn't Kualo's fault, nor was it my fault.
In all my years of running with dedicated servers, from Layer3, to Rackspace, to even some CN servers, I have never seen the type of response that I have seen with Kualo. My sister has been using Kualo for a few years so I figured I would give it a try. I purchased a year contract paid in full up front for their full service value server (280$ a month). As I stated earlier, today has been a rough day. But I will tell you what. No other hosting provider that I have ever been with has the dedication to their customers as Kualo. If every company in this world cared so much about their customers; this world would run seamlessly. I absolutely refuse to work with a company that does not care about their customers and today proved to me and a bunch of other people that Kualo will not sleep, be it 6am in the UK, until you are FIXED and satisfied.
To Craig, Jo, and anyone else involved in resolving the issue that came up; working non stop, always responding to inquiries, CALLING ME to let me know exactly what was happening and what they were trying to do, I can honestly say that Kualo, as long as we are both in business, will always be providing me with my dedicated servers.
Impressed doesn't even begin to describe the feelings I have towards Kualo for their expertise, capabilities and dedication to their customers and to the service they provide. If you are looking for a Grade A hosting company that exceeds any expectations you could even imagine I urge you to take a serious look into Kualo.

Your staff rocks. Your servers have run perfectly for the few months i've hosted with you. So far, so good.
Your service is far better than my old hosting company, which consisted of "one" over-worked guy trying to do everything for everyone (which means he was not successful at doing much of anything for anyone). My hosted clients (on my reseller account) complained often as my old hosting servers were "always" experiencing small problems. Such problems were brought to the attention of the owner - and in many instances his replies to my (or my client's) requests were angry and made me feel like i shouldn't be asking any more questions. I am a network technician who does not wish to run my own hosting servers, it was more than i was willing to accept from a company that I hired to do a job they promised they could do well.
In late september 2005, the server we were hosted on crashed - along with the backup system - and we had numerous hosting accounts down for as many as 4 days. That's when I found Kualo and moved all of my reseller hosting accounts here.
Why Kualo? One word: RAID -- add to that the fact that your staff has always been incredibly friendly to me and you have the reasons for why i am doing business with Kualo...so far - no worries.

Well, I've decided it's time to tell those of you on the outside looking in, the "inside" really is just as good.
I've been recommending and assisting my own clients through Kualo for about a year. I now have my own hosting set up here, and I can't say enough great things about them. Support, sales, the whole nine yards... it's all top-notch.
Lightening fast support - The support tickets are answered before I even have time to check email!
I've been through a few bigger hosting companies, and Kualo could show them a thing or two (or three or four...)

The Kualo people must live at their computers, checking for Help Desk tickets. I've never gone over about 15 minutes before getting a response (from a human, not the automated one).
I've been with 2 other hosting companies in the past, one horrible, one quite good but didn't have what I needed. After about three years, I'm sticking with Kualo! And I've directed some of my friends here. I don't DO that unless I'm really happy.
I'm really excited...I'm upgrading to VPS! I'm sure the service on this account will be just as good as on my old account.

I think its been two years but I actually do not recall. I was on shared server for seems like 1.5 years, then moved to VPS in August 2004.
Having said all this I had to lookup my login and password to login just now - you know things are running smoothly when you have to figure out what your passwords is from NOT having to login :-)

I have tried Powweb, GeekHosting and Websitesource. Although they have several positives, none of them come close to the quality and service offered by Kualo.
I had heard about Kualo from a well known internet marketer and decided to take a look. My first impression of Kualo's Support network was unbelievably brilliant. Their Support is about as good as their uptime... almost 100% fantastic value for money and fast response. Their forum is the most helpful place for me to visit. Along with support tickets and email correspondence I would have to say that I will not be leaving this host. They are now offering hosting from the US, UK and Canada. Their culture is one of polite, intelligent and super fast response to their customers.
I know a lot of us look for that special deal that feels like we've got a lot for our money but it all boils down to the backbone customer (and pre-sales) supoort doesn't it.
I highly recommend you take a look at Kualo. The most unknown host online it seems!

Yesterday I opened a helpdesk ticket with an inquiry about changing my plan from one level to another. I rated it a "5" (low level informational ticket). I was expecting an answer by sometime today (and that would have been PLENTY fine with me for that level of importance). I expected that once I had the answer/procedure I could go about implementing the upgrade.
Today I checked the email and was absolutely STARTLED to see that not only had the ticket been read/answered AND acted on, but it was all done less than ten minutes after I opened it!
I don't know how you folks DO this, but *please* don't ever stop. I can't EVER see going to any other hosting company after being so thoroughly SPOILED by the brilliant service and attention here.
Color me astonished and delighted all at once!

What can I say... For several years I have been looking for a provider that has everything. I found Kualo and was impressed with what they had to offer, but that was just the cake.
I signed up on Friday the 13th... Okay, no biggy. BUT. The servers are in Tampa, FL. -- Seems there was a hurricane blowing through the area at the time I signed up. Guess what?!? In less than 2 hours I was up and running.
Not only were they able to get me going, but the servers are so fast I thought I was at home working on my own computer. When I went to install FrontPage on a site, it took less than 15 seconds to process -- whereas before, on other servers it took 2~3 minutes. I have NEVER seen any server so fast! WOW! (and this was in the middle of a hurricane.)

I design and operate commercial websites since January 1995, when we had to write very basic HTML code and use a browser called "Mosaic" to browse the web. So, websites were mainly text based and plain (before the Netscape 1 release).
My main operation consists of designing, hosting, maintaining and operating of corporate and non-profit organization sites including some giant, internationally recognized ventures, so you can tell how much I depend on a good server and support service.
Since 1995, I have dealt with so many service providers including Earthlink, LA Internet, 9Avenu, Fat Cow, Novanix, and some which I can't even remember their names...
Last year after months of struggling with my previous service provider's less than adequate support and after months of research, I've decided to give Kualo a try.
Now I have 3 reseller accounts spread across the Kualo network with many many clients and more who sign up everyday and am planning to sign up for more reseller accounts in the near future.
I just have to tell you all that I have never had a better experience with the level of proficiency and great service which Kualo provides in my entire career as a web developer.
I've been approached quite a few times by companies wanting to tempt me to setup my own servers but I thought to myself that it will cost me literally $$$$$$$$$$$ a year to hire a group of people with the knowledge and experience that Kualo staffers offer as a free service to their clients.
You guys are a breath of fresh air in this ever so deceptive industry.

Very impressed, especially when things go wrong, with speed of communication and problem solving. For example during the server problems about a year ago when everything was restored and nothing was lost. Customers were kept up to date with what was really happening. Currently involved with four hosting companies. Kualo is the best for uptime and communication. One in particular does not inform customers when there are problems and pretends everything is OK (whilst, presumably, working like mad to fix the problem).

Kualo was a trial for me. I use to be hosted by yourwebhost.com and they were charging an insane ammount for a small ammount of space and stats. So I found 3-4 companies that had the 30 day money back guarantee and Kualo was the number 1 out of those 4 companies. I havn't seen many hosting companies around that let clients talk to clients and I love being able to talk with other people that are under the same company I am for hosting. I know I have been here for quite a while,
but I think you guys and girls need to know what a kick
ass host you are
I must have been with about 10 hosts in the last 5 years,
and I have always been jumping from host to host after
they start off great, but end up terrible (lack of support,
downtime, getting too big too fast, etc...). With having
a large website with a computing audience, and even having
hosting articles, it is very important that we pick the
right place!
But after being with Kualo for almost a year now, I intend
to stay here I have slowly upgraded my plans since I have
been hosted here, and I am now on a reseller account.
There have been a few bugs in the last 12 months, but
they have always been worked out fast, and most importantly,
you have informed us and kept us up to date! This is the
thing that no other hosts seem to do, as I always know
what the status is at Kualo.

I researched a LOT of companies before
deciding to go with Kualo.
As I am somewhat of a novice to all this, customer service
is especially important to me! So, when I had narrowed
that HUGE list of hosting companies down to the top six,
I sent each of them an e-mail asking a handful of questions
about their service. This was both for informational purposes,
as well as to get a taste of the company's support.
Well, see the subject of this message? That's Kualo's
customer support!!
Not only did I receive Kualo's reply the fastest of the
six companies I wrote, but their e-mail contained complete
answers to all of my questions! The impressive part of
this is that three of the e-mails they beat were just
auto-responder messages.
So maybe the subject should have read "Faster than
a speeding Auto-Responder!!", but either way, the
people at Kualo are Supermen and women.
I signed up with them within a day, and am getting my
site up as I type ... well not AS I type. I'd have to
be a Kualo employee to do that and this at the same time,
but as soon as I send this, I'm back to doing that!

Thank you to everyone at Kualo for making this new experience
so wonderful and exciting!
My questions have been answered quickly and everyone
is very friendly and very helpful! My trouble tickets
have been answered usually within 10 minutes...some have
been answered within 1!
The Kualo staff has excelled in their quest for excellent
customer service! You'll not find this level of customer
service anywhere else!
In addition to Kualo's staff, there is an uparalled comradarie
among the Kualo clients on this forum and off. It's a
resource that I didn't know I was missing until I came
to Kualo!
Once again, THANK YOU to all of Kualo's staff and to
my fellow Kualoites! I'm very happy to be part of the
Kualo family and expect to be here for a very long time!

I have used several other hosting services
before and it always ended badly. Usually it was just
me waiting to make the move after too many bad downtime
experiences. I was dreading the move, just hoping things
would improve and I wouldn't have to go through the pain
again.
Well, a friend on my site recommended this service and
I can say I was impressed immediately by the friendly
support and the great community forums.

I just switched to Kualo from another
host, I must say I'm so happy I made this move. I have
already put in some helpdesk tickets and they have all
been answered so quickly it is terrific. What I mean by
quickly is 6 & 8 minutes for two separate tickets.
That is fast.
Another thing I must say is great is how organized everything
is; the emails you receive are filled with information
about your account. All the emails are very organized
and well thought out.
Last but not least every single one of the customer service
people are very intelligent and always courteous.
With out hesitation I would recommend Kualo. They are
great!
